Strengthen your source use practices (including evaluating, integrating, quoting, paraphrasing, summarizing, synthesizing, analyzing, and citing sources)

Before the course, I was pretty familiar with it since it is necessary for all sorts of scientific writing, including lab reports and previous English essay projects. While my ability to embed quotations and summarize and synthesize information from publications has remained the same, the course has enhanced my capacity to credit my sources consistently while adhering to strict guidelines. This was my first experience referencing in APA format. Therefore, I can now adjust my citation style to meet the needs of various academic institutions. I’ve enhanced my ability to evaluate and incorporate sources into my writing. This is the course learning result.
