CLO #2

Enhance strategies for reading, drafting, revising, editing, and self-assessment.

The training improved my reading and editing skills, as indicated by my participation in various genres, including scientific and narrative writing. My improved critical analysis and editing abilities were evident in my effective peer reviews and the development of my multimodal project drafts. This course learning outcome is consistent with practically all of the writing I’ve done for English classes in the past, although it was often challenging to meet in this class due to fast times following peer reviews. Peer evaluations helped determine where revisions needed to be made, but I always ensured a second reading before the peer review to see what my audience thought with fresh eyes. Peer evaluations also improved my self-evaluation skills since they taught me to consider what others could productively critique while reading.
